Merchandise & Apparel

General Guidelines

Branded merchandise and apparel help strengthen the UCCS identity by creating a consistent, recognizable experience for students, employees, alumni, and the community. Using approved logos, colors, and design standards ensures every item reflects the university professionally and reinforces our brand. Any item featuring the UCCS name, logos, or other trademarks—including promotional giveaways provided at no cost—must be produced by a licensed vendor. Licensed vendors are authorized to use university trademarks and help ensure all branded merchandise meets university standards and licensing requirements.

How to Order Products

  1. Choose a licensed vendor.
  2. Work with the licensed vendor to select product(s) within your budget.
  3. Follow the Brand Guidelines. Whether submitting a design to a licensed vendor or working with them to create the design, the guidelines must be followed.
  4. The licensed vendors will submit a request through CLC (Collegiate Licensing Company) to our office for final artwork for approval. This request is the responsibility of the licensed vendor.
  5. Any changes to the design to meet guidelines will be communicated to the vendor. Note: Any artwork that needs to be switched out after it has been submitted through the system needs to be "denied" first in the CLC system before new artwork can be submitted.
