Email Signature
Email Signature
Email signatures should match the general look and feel of business stationary in the UCCS Brand Identity Standards – Helvetica Neue when possible (or otherwise sans serif) with bold names, plain contact info, optionally small bold lowercase letters to signify what kind of number or contact info (f = fax, o = office, m = mobile, e = email, etc.)
Precise selection of what information is required and optional is set at the unit or department level.
Please use official brand colors (black, gold, grays) and prefer dashes in phone numbers instead of periods. Email addresses and website URLs are typically lowercase.

Customization Options
Email signatures can be customized at the individual, department, or audience-specific level, for whatever best serves your needs. Customization options follow.
With UCCS logo
Some may prefer to include the UCCS logo in their email signature. Please make sure the graphic is properly formatted for small crisp reproduction by using the email signature artwork on this page. Other options in this example: The full address of the university may be included if appropriate for your audience. Department website URL may also be included if relevant. Contact type signifiers may be set on CU Gold.

Simplified version
You might opt for a simplified version, especially for an internal audience:

More info, tag lines, combining lines
Some prefer collapsing information onto fewer lines, which is acceptable. The pipe vertical bar character, or bullet character, with two spaces on each side is appropriate to use for this purpose. Pronouns may be added wherever preferred. Contact information should be official university information, and generally not personal or third-party services. Taglines and extra messaging are acceptable as well (though they are not permitted in the other business stationary.) These should be department/college/university taglines, not personal slogans.
